Alejandro has a huge smile, arguably the biggest of the lot. Alejandro is also one of the few, very few, that we can say with confidence knows the Lord. Alejandro is quick to answer Bible questions and just about always willing to share what his opinion.
10 years old, Alejandro is one of the most mature boys we have in the Project, even for his young age. Our primary concern with Alejandro is that he is easily distracted and can be enticed into bad behavior easily by the wrong influences. On one occasion we pulled Alejandro aside after a particular situation where he behaved badly and after disciplining him offered him the responsibility of helping lead the other kids into obedience, rather than joining in their disobedience. Since that proposal Alejandro has not been as much of a handful as before, although occasionally we have to remind him of our “little talk”.
Alejandro lives with his mom and step-dad in a tiny tin-shack which shares the land with other families, but he’s a happy kid who has a bright future.

Our family is very interested and willing to sponsor a child. We would love to sponsor Alejandro but will take whomever is in the most need right now. We appreciate your testimony and ministry in Nicaragua. The Lord has certainly equipped you in your endeavors. We will pray for you and ALL the children.
