Ashley is in the 3rd grade this year where she most enjoys studying Spanish and practicing her handwriting. Ashley can most often be found in her free time riding a bike or playing games in the street with the other kids of the community and the with the young girls of The Isaiah Project.
Ashley has a really sweet spirit and has a smile that just lights you up. Helping Ashley with her homework is a pleasure as she is really motivated to learn. Ashley has shared with us that she wants to be a doctor when she grows up and I have a feeling that if she remains as dedicated to her studies as she is this year she will accomplish that dream, Lord willing.
Currently Ashley lives with her mom. Ashley’s father is still around in Managua but has no active role in her life. Ashley spends her nights with her mom, however, after she finishes her time with us at the Project she is cared for by her grandmother who lives across the street from The Isaiah Project. Ashely is one of our sweetest little girls and one of our brightest; we pray that she continues on with us in the years to come as God calls her to Himself.
