Ashley has just begun elementary school and loves to color. Actually, she is probably one of the best at staying inside the lines that I’ve seen from the little ones; and she sure is proud to show us how pretty her newest picture turned out. Ashley can most often be found in her free time riding a bike or playing games in the street with the other kids of the community.
Ashley has a really sweet spirit and has a smile that just lights you up. Helping Ashley with her homework is a pleasure as she is really motivated to learn. Right now Ashley is learning her times-tables and how to write in cursive.
Currently Ashley lives with her mom who does have a job but is caring for Ashley on her own. Ashley’s father is still around in Managua but has no active role in her life. Ashley spends her nights with her mom, however, after she finishes her time with us at the Project she is cared for by her grandmother who lives across the street from The Isaiah Project center.
