Lesner has grown up a lot since we came to know him about 3 years ago. In his 3rd year with us, Lesner is in the 4th grade and is 9 years old. Lesner is also one of the, if not the most quick-witted, sarcastic kids we have enrolled. Lesner loves to play jokes on the staff of The Isaiah Project as well as hang all over you like a spider-monkey whenever he gets the chance.
Lesner’s favorite subject to study is math and when he’s not in class or at the Project he most enjoys playing with toys, especially miniature cars if he can get his hands on one. We asked Lesner what he likes most about being at the project and he said: “I like the gringos and the presents.” Lesner now wants to be a doctor, which has changed from wanting to be an professional athlete, so that when he grows up and has lots of money he can help all the old people, at least that’s what he said
