Maicol joined The Isaiah Project in 2011. Maicol is now 12 years old and is a special boy. I believe that Maicol will be a leader among men one day with the right leadership and guidance provided. He has had a hard life and feels much rejection; he is also one of our bigger disciplinary concerns at times, but shows signs of promise and real ability to change. Maicol has basically been raised by his grandmother as his mom is a drug-addict and father has never really taken interest in him. Despite all this, Maicol has a bright mind and we are hoping that the positive reinforcement The Isaiah Project provides will bring to the forefront the best in this young boy.
Maicol has two sisters and is currently in the 6th grade where he enjoys studying the sciences. Maicol wants to be an engineer one day, which means he will have to stop watching some much television in his free time, which is what he can be found doing most often unfortunately. Maicol’s favorite thing about being with us at The Isaiah Project is the field trips we take with the kids every now and again as the Lord provides. Please join us in prayer for Maicol.
