Miguel is high-energy, always ready to wrestle with his buddies, play in the street, or try his hand at a game of thumb-war. Miguel is kind of in that in-between stage of leaving the really cute, huggy-kid phase of life to coming into the more of an independent/mischievous kid phase.
Miguel is 9 years old and the youngest of the Rivas crew, of which there are three, that are enrolled in The Isaiah Project. He has a real desire to learn and enthusiasm for the subjects he finds most interesting, like math. His handwriting is barely legible, which is why it is up there on our list of things we are striving to improve with Miguel at present. He loves to draw and talk about pretty much anything if you’re up for it.
All in all, Miguel is a happy kid who isn’t aware of how poor he is or what he doesn’t have. We know that there is no child in our program too young to be touched by the love of God, we pray this for Miguel.
