Little Miguel, or Miguelito, is a sweetheart of a kid. Probably our most “huggy” boy of them all, when you arrive at the Project you will most likely have Miguel wrapped around your waist within seconds. Miguel is also high-energy, also ready to wrestle with his buddies, play in the street, or try his hand at a game of thumb-war.
Miguel is 8 years old and the youngest of the Rivas crew, of which there are three, that are enrolled in The Isaiah Project. He has a real desire to learn and enthusiasm for the subjects he finds most interesting, like math. His handwriting is barely legible, which is why it is up there on our list of things we are striving to improve with Miguel at present.
All in all, Miguel is a happy kid who isn’t aware of how poor he is or what he doesn’t have. Miguel is also probably the most participative kid in our Bible studies amongst the littler ones, always eager to spout out whatever thought or opinion he has in the moment. We know that there is no child in our program too young to be touched by the love of God, we pray this for Miguel.
