Saira is 12 years old and is, like her sister Georgina, orphaned by her parents; she lives with extended family, of which her grandparents are her guardians. Saira, despite the hard life she’s lived up to this point, reminds us most of your typical 11 year old girl. Giggly, high energy, and easily distracted describe most girls you’ll find of this age and Saira is no different. At the Project during tutoring sessions we spend a lot of time with Saira encouraging her and showing her that with a little bit of positivity and hard work she can accomplish most things that are asked of her.
Please join us in praying for Saira as she is quickly growing up and discovering the world of boys and all that entails. On numerous occasions Saira has been spotted after school hours with boys in situations that have given us plenty to worry about. As Saira and her sister Georgina really don’t have anyone outside of the Project speaking truth into their life or applying the proper parental controls, we fear for these two little beauties.
