Yubram is a hard kid, a hard kid to teach, a hard kid to discipline, and a hard kid to dislike. It seems that there is hardly a day that goes by where we don’t have to get on to Yubram for saying a bad word or pestering another kid, but through it all we see the potential in this little rugrat.
Yubram is 10 years old and is another sad case of abandonment by his parents after a failed relationship. Orphaned and living with his great aunt across the street from the Project, Yubram has had a tough life. Moving to Rafael Rios several years ago when his mother wanted nothing more to do with him, Yubram has spent most of his childhood in an even more poverty stricken and dark area of Managua that we can still see signs of the ill-effects forced on little Yubram. Despite it all, there is just something in Yubram that makes us believe that better things are coming for the little guy; he will not continue to walk down the path that he was force-fed and that with prayer and a consistent dose of love Yubram will change. With Yubram, its all about faith ![]()
